Who we support

TRE-ADD is for children and youth ages 6–18 with:

  • Autism or related intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Complex behavioural challenges

Forms of support

There are two forms of TRE-ADD support:

School-based services and community support services.

TRE-ADD School-Based Services

School-based services are in partnership with local school boards to help students safely return to a community classroom. Students are admitted into one of six treatment classrooms, where they receive clinical (i.e., functional behavioural assessments; medical or medication review) and educational assessments, and an individualized treatment plan for the student and their family.

TRE-ADD Community Support Services

Community Support Services of TRE-ADD provides community-based services and short-term consultation to caregivers and professionals who support children and youth with complex behaviours. We offer a range of supports, including:

  • Free Wellness events
  • Referrals and funding resources
  • Access to support groups
  • Brief consultation and support strategies
  • Professional development and training
